Itīs not a very fast process so itīs important to first start with a sketch in order to experiment, then when you are satisfied with the result you can start the final image on top of it. Otherwise you will lose a lot of time drawing accurately things that wonīt even be in the final picture.
To speed up the process you can create the image with a 1/2 point perspective, so that you can do the vertical lines/selections holding the shift key. Then when finished create a new layer on top and press shift + ctrl + alt + E to copy and merge the other layers into that one and add a third vanishing point distorting the image with the perspective transformation.
